Community in Motion Brampton 2023

Community in Motion is a series of 20+ murals across Old Fairgrounds Park, curated with the City of Brampton. 

I was the lead artist on this project. where I designed and executed the murals in collaboration with Angelica Candido.

Each mural is thoughtfully crafted to capture distinct aspects of the park, including a focus on the enthusiasm for activities such as skateboarding, various sports (Softball, Lacrosse, and Basketball), as well as the inviting presence of local community members. Infused with naturalistic elements and lively characters, the artworks vividly portray the inclusive nature of Brampton's diverse cultures, showcasing the range of sports enjoyed in the vicinity and the rich tapestry of animal life.

Alongside painting and designing we hosted a "Community Paint Day" at the skatepark portion of the park. Where we engaged the local community in beautifying their park.
